Review of The Memory Bank by thedefinitearticle63

This is part of a series of reviews of Doctor Who in chronological timeline order.

Previous Story: Singularity

The thing I love about these shorter stories from anthologies is their ability to do some really cool sci-fi. This is definitely an example of that. Because of it's shorter length, it's not needlessly padded out and you get the full story in just 30 minutes. I really like the idea of this one; needing to be remembered to stay alive. Mark Strickson does a great job here as he is forced to recall some terrible memories. I found the ending a bit messy and I'm not a fan of the alien explanation behind it. There's nothing inherently wrong with it, I just hoped they'd give a more interesting explanation. Overall, great start to this anthology and I hope the rest of it keeps the same level of quality.
