Synopsis

Interstellar dogfights still rage in the skies over London! When Alice is forced into a high-stakes solo challenge that could end the conflict, she'll need to muster everything she's learned on her travels with the Doctor in order to succeed – and even that might not be enough! Has the Doctor made a grave mistake – or is it all part of a larger plan?

This and the previous accompanying strip just did not click for me. Lots of plot points, lots of characters, but nothing landing with a significant degree of drama or clarity. The Doctor has had several interactions with ServeYouInc. by this point, but I’m not feeling the sense of anticipation that is being expected of the reader. Arc, Jones and Alice are nit the dream team I’m afraid.

This review contains spoilers!

Apart from the openning, this could’ve just been on another planet, setting it over Earth was a mistake imo. It’s got some nice character stuff, more building up overall mysteries, and I liked the openning with Alice’s expectation for The Doctor’s reaction vs the reality. Overall though it feels like just another story, if that makes sense.

This is quite a cool resolution to the story from the previous strip, although it does feel a little like it came out of nowhere. I like it though. The characters development is great and the art is pretty good as well.

ADA: Daughter. Listen to me now.

Listen. And if you forget everything else I ever say to you... never forget this.

I know sometimes it's hard. Sometimes it's painful. There are times you'll want to to do anything else.

But if something is wrong - if you know something is wrong - you must always speak out.

Always.

No matter what.
