Synopsis

Trapped in a citadel swarming with Daleks, the Time Lord rescue force must find a way to overcome insurmountable odds. With the Daleks apparently planning to rule the Null Zone, perhaps their thirst for universal conquest and victory has been quenched…

The War Doctor doesn’t believe so - but how can he prove it without destroying any chance of peace?

As the countdown to the destruction of Keska proceeds, a deadly choice must be made... A choice that will define this Doctor, and perhaps forever cast him in the role of 'monster'.

One story, one grade.
I don't feel the weight that comes with the concept of the War Doctor. Aside from the setting of war, there is like one scene that showcases the Doctor that does what has to be done, no matter how grim it is, and even there it's pillowed up by literally everyone around him. If I only listened to this, without the context of the War Doctor from the show, I wouldn't understand why he doesn't like being called the Doctor.
The B-plot with Time Lord agents is a waste of time.

I really like the central idea of it though. The dialogue doesn't allow for greatness this concept provides, but there is definitely something there. I like that it mirrors DW Series 1, but don't like how it does this. This could've and should've been much stronger. 3/5

DOCTOR: [You will find me] at the heart of the battle, where the blood of the innocents flows... And only the monstrous survive.
