This is part of a series of reviews of Doctor Who in chronological timeline order. Previous Story: The Romance of Crime (Audio Adaptation) I haven't read the original novel, so I can't rate this as an adaptation, therefore this is a rating of the story as it is presented in this audio. That aside, this was an improvement, but still not something I personally enjoyed. I'm not particularly sure why as there's nothing objectively wrong with this story, I guess it just didn't click with me. I did like a few bits, John Leeson acting out a posessed K9 was fun and there were some fairly high stakes. It suffered from the same issue with the last one, that it was hard to follow (in my opinion). I'm going to have to track down the novels and see if I prefer them.
