This is part of a series of reviews of Doctor Who in chronological timeline order. Previous Story: The Contingency Club I'm not sure why, but I just really liked this story. Gevaudan, the telepathic wolfman, is just so cool. He's probably one of my favourite side characters in an audio story, partly thanks to his great voice by Philip Franks. In general, all the side characters here are really well done. There were so many twists and turns that I didn't see coming. The necrobiologicals are not the most inventive of villains being generic vampires but the way this played into the end of the story makes up for it. Overall this is just a great story that I thoroughly enjoyed As a side note, those last few lines were haunting, although Big Finish foreshadow Adric's death in just about every story with him.
