Synopsis

Upon landing, Ian notes that the planet is quite ordinary. Afterwards, Ian falls through the ground, discovering dozens of diamonds littered around the place. Pleased with his discovery, he tells the Doctor about what he found. However, the Doctor tells him that the diamonds are worthless as they're in abundance on this planet. He also notes that if they carried any into the TARDIS the diamonds would disappear.

A devestating and concise example of the scarcity principle using a familiar and dynamic example. I think I cried a little at that last panel - with all of time and space, and over so much time especially, they become so worthless that they disappear entirely.

Decided to do all 16 stories of these I think there basically Ian 1st and Barbara stories the final 2 retell the webplanet with just those 3 but over all there not the best but I think if I was from the 1960s I’d love them
