A lovely little story with a, to borrow a word used in several of the other reviews, charming explanation for why the Doctor came to Earth! Although I will always believe that Susan was the one in love with the planet, this is just such a lovely backstory that I can't help but adore it. Great artwork, and a sweet little piece all around! 5/5, one of my favourites (:

This is a very charming read, giving a brief view into the life of the most elusive iteration of The Doctor. The brief Titan comic run is currently the most material we get on her time as part of Division and I only wish there was more of it.

FCBD stories are by their nature very brief, so I like that they chose to keep this story very precise and zero in on a couple of big beats.

I really enjoyed this FCBD publication. With some really nice artwork that drew me in perfectly, a cute little story, and decently fun depiction of the Doctor visiting Earth for the first time, this just worked for me. I like the idea that working with human children is what first endeared the species to the Doctor. As a story of the Doctor's past, one opening up ever more to new possibilities in the canon and exploring this Fugitive character a little more, this felt fun as a sort of origins story. I'm curious if the rest of the range can live up to this as I enjoyed it quite a bit.

Pretty charming little story. The Fugitive Doctor is characterised quite well and I like that you can see her starting to like Earth by the end. I was not expecting the cameo at the end, but I like the implication that some of her memories survived after the wipe, enough to draw the Doctor back here subconsciously.
