📝4/10 = UNENJOYABLE!

Thworping through time and space, one adventure at a time! This time: confused in times of war!

I’m confused by Tip of the Tongue—it’s set in 1944 but doesn’t feel like it, and it throws you straight into the story through a bunch of pretty bland characters. The Doctor is barely in the story to begin with.

The Truth Tellers are strange characters, given fun voices by Nicholas Pegg. What we learn later on makes them more interesting but doesn't give the story more value.

The last stretch is pretty good, once the Doctor gets going. Nyssa has no business being here though.

I'm generally a fan of Patrick Ness’ writing, but here he delivers a boring story that leaves no impressions.
