This one was fine still a lot of nostalgia for it but defo the weakest of the 4 of read so far

A rather dry read with lots of technical detail on the Apollo space mission, with very little pay off at the end when you get to their encounter with The Doctor. It is sweet, cute even, but a little boring!

This review contains spoilers!

This next short story is considerably less fun than the previous entries in this anthology. It finds the 4th Doctor arriving on Apollo 8 to pick up a special package from UNIT. The story contains a huge amount of technobabble which, when read by narrator Chris Addison, do not make particularly easy listening. I found myself glazing over more than once. This is a shame as the story is based around a real life event and features the three real life astronauts who were indeed, in space on December 24th 1968 in Apollo 8. Addison's Doctor doesn't particularly evoke Tom Baker, either, which doesn't help the matter. Overall, a rather dull effort.
