This is part of a series of reviews of Doctor Who in chronological timeline order. Previous Story: Aladdin Time If we don't factor in the Second Doctor, this was an ok story. The first half was really strong with the mystery of why 2 was suddenly here (I'm not sure what to think yet of David Troughton's impression) but towards the second half it just sort of fizzles out. There was a lot of action towards the end and very little happening in my opinion. The Nest Cottage Chronicles have changed a lot since The Stuff of Nightmares (mostly for the good) but this story especially feels like generic Nick Briggs Big Finish level action. Still, there's a good cliffhanger I'm confident that the second part will be much better but as I haven't listened to that yet I can only review this story as it is and as it is it's just settting up the next part.
