Delighted to report that this is secretly kind of great?? It's funny, it's genuinely involving, the pacing is fantastic and there are a couple of story beats that wouldn't be out of place on TV Who. Even John Ross' artwork cleans up nicely here, feeling dynamic and fluid rather than the somewhat stilted stuff from previous issues. Well done!

A more interesting, yet very cliché story, with some good art supporting this. The resolution leaves a lot to be desired, with not much development.

The Germ War is very much a cliché Story, but hey I like some Art with our Aliens here, so that’s a plus. Honestly, just slightly better compared to the last Story.

DWA COMICS: STORY 4 (Tenth Doctor: Story 4)

The Germ War is about a war against germs. That’s basically all you need to know. It’s a simple run-around as the Doctor and Rose realise the robots trying to remove the germ creatures are the real villains.

Yes, it’s an average ‘misunderstood monster’ story, and I don’t have much more to say.

It’s not very memorable though, which is probably the reason this review is so short.

DOCTOR: (Emptying his pockets) Hairy lollipop... single glove... water pistol... cuddly toy...

ROSE: Doctor, your rubbish!

DOCTOR: No, I'm fantastic.
