This is part of a series of reviews of Doctor Who in chronological timeline order.

Previous Story: The Demons of Red Lodge

This is another story that I think could have done with a bit longer. The villain, while well-realised, does set the stakes rather high and there isn't enough time to really deal with the potential consequences of that in my opinion. The Doctor and Nyssa just seem to shrug it off.

Regardless, there's some fun ideas, the idea of a sound that cancels out everything is really cool. The Entropy Sirens are a fairly novel idea for a villain and appeal to me more than the math demons from the last story. As a sidenote, the fact that there's a Big Finish writer called Rick Briggs with (seemingly) no connection to Nick Briggs is just really funny to me.
