This is part of a series of reviews of Doctor Who in chronological timeline order. Previous Story: The Exxilons A bit boring, it captures a nice eerie vibe but beyond that it's quite flat. I think this story would work better as a companion chronicle so as to give some insight into what the characters were thinking, maybe play with the format a little. Unfortunately it doesn't do much of these things, the ideas are all quite interesting, trapping a demon in panes of glass, needing to perform a magic lantern show to free it. It is much better than the last story but that's a fairly low bar. Next Story: Requiem for the Rocket Men Like Liked 0 Open in new window Statistics AVG. Rating34 members 3.35 / 5 GoodReads AVG.
