This is part of a series of reviews of Doctor Who in chronological timeline order. Previous Story: The Destroyer of Delights Finally we reach the end of the "Key 2 Time" trilogy with a decent story. Amy is still a wooden plank of a character, so I was glad that she was replaced by Zara for the majority of this story who is somewhat interesting. I especially enjoyed the slow realisation that they were turning human and how it factored into the story. The first part of this story really felt like it was stalling just to get to the cliffhanger. It was a good cliffhanger but because of how long it had took I'd already guessed the twist ages ago. I like that this is a sequel to The Armageddon Factor and it really evokes the feel of that story, whether that's a good thing or not. Aside from that it was nice to hear Lalla Ward again, though I wish more of her time in this story was spent as Romana and not Princess Astra. All in all, not a bad story but it's the ending to an otherwise miserable trilogy so I'm not keen to revisit it any time soon.
