This comic doesn’t feel like it came out of the mid-90s; the art style, in my opinion, is rather shoddy. I understand that it’s from a different artist, brought in to give the main team a break while they worked on the more substantial three-part stories, but even so, the quality here is noticeably lacking. Jo is entirely unrecognisable in many of the frames.

As for the story itself, there’s not much to write home about. It’s overly simplistic, feeling more like something you might expect from a brief strip in a Sunday newspaper rather than a feature in Doctor Who Magazine.
