TARDISODES: STORY 1

This is the first of the Tardisodes, a series of very short minisodes made to promote each episode of the 2006 series of Doctor Who.

Tardisode 1 accompanies New Earth. It is presented as an advertisement made for the New Earth hospital.

It's really nothing special, it's just some promo material.

It is always nice to have some more Catkind content though!

Thworping through time and space, one adventure at a time!

TARDISODE 1

Framed as a sort of infomercial for New Earth and their perfect hospital that never loses a patient, we see a woman cured from a terminal illness before cries for help tease us of dangers brewing. The acting is stiff, and the editing is quite abysmal. I guess it's fun to see Novice Hame from the episode, though.

This review contains spoilers!

A nice little advertisement for the New Earth hospital.

I think the acting here is pretty fun, the way the 'Terminal... Wrong' is delivered is nice, and the little teaser for the dark truth of the episode at the end, a single frightened line and the cat turning.

A pretty effective use of the half a minute they had.

Starting my short Journey with those..

Well, this one is okay! I honestly expected way less, but it's a very simple Short which teases one of the most forgettable Things out of New Earth. For what it is, I think it is fine enough, even if I wish they leaned more into the "Commercial"-'We help everybody' Part. But hey, more of the Cat Nuns, so can I really complain? (Yes I like the Cat Nuns a lot simply because of their Make-Up, it's a bit cursed, but PERFECT for Doctor Who).
