The 'Gameplay' could be done by a well-timed automator if it were possible. It is literally just an existant - a rock you can poke. The only reason I have it at 3 stars is for the batshit combinations of characters dreamt of by presumably randomisers cross-pollinating faster than if every species of bumblebee went up in a frenzy. /hyp /m

I only played this game out of a compulsive urge to complete it on this site, and after I initially rated 1.5 stars, I have dropped it to 0.5 stars. The game serves no purpose other than to get you to spend money. Frequent pop ups offer you deals to make things go faster so you can complete objectives quicker. The story is incoherent and choppy and meaningless fanservice exceeding the worst excesses of Big Finish and Titan. There is some merit and fun to be had in previous Doctor Who games like The Last Dalek and The Adventure Games, whereas this one has none and should, as it's name suggests, be lost to time.

It’s not really a game. The nicest thing you could say is that the artwork is quite nice, but the story and gameplay are non-existent. It is a company praying on fans with a phone addiction, attempting to convert it into profit.

A boring video game with no real plot besides the most generic dredge imaginable and no real gameplay other than waiting.  I remember playing a Simpsons game for a similarly a fundamentally vapid experience.

It's a generic, pay to win idle farming game. There isn't much to say about it. It's not even a good idle game.

You’re so based for that, Tian.

First I was happy. “Oh nice, a Doctor Who game for on my phone!” I thought. Silly me. Then I deleted it in the first five minutes.
I don’t have anything against these types of farming games. I like Hay Day. This stuff can work. Difference is that Hay Day was made by people that wanted to make a good game. This is painfully obviously created to bank in on the FOMO and nostalgia of Doctor Who fans.
It’s made to exploit the love people have for this franchise. It’s not made to be a fun game. It’s a lot of waiting, and keep checking in for the daily bonuses to collect all the rare collectibles that are worth nothing if you think about it for more than 10 seconds.
Because they know that at some point there will be fans like you and me downloading this, but who don’t uninstall the app. Who will go through all this stuff, because “oh, it’s Doctor Who, I love Doctor Who so much!” so they give their time and money to it, and that’s all the company wants.

I just hate these kinds of things, with everything programmed to make it as addictive as possible, and then also use it to exploit the trust and love people have for a franchise.

‘Game’ sucks. Would give a -12 out of 3000

The worst kind of mobile game. Pay or wait.
