This is part of a series of reviews of Doctor Who in chronological timeline order. Previous Story: The Lure of the Nomad A fun little historical with a unique sci-fi twist. It focuses on a historical figure that I've never heard of, which is a welcome surprise instead of another Shakespeare story or some other famous historical figure. I really liked the idea of an alternate reality watching us through one-way windows, observing us like a zoo of some kind. The worldbuilding of the alternate reality was quite good and the descriptions painted a vivid picture in my mind. I found the main villain really infuriating, she was just so incompetent and cruel. I'm unsure whether to count that as a positive. The story started off a bit slow but really picked up when it got to the other world. Overall, it's not an incredible adventure but it's quite inventive and doesn't feel like it's wasting my time. Next Story: Hour of the Cybermen Like Liked 0 Open in new window Statistics AVG.
