Synopsis

The history books tell us that on the 8th of June, 793 AD, the Holy Island of Lindisfarne was burnt to the ground by Viking raiders. But history also records that "fiery dragons were seen flying in the sky" - can that be true? With time running out, the Doctor, Peri and a young HG Wells mobilise the island’s monks as the real raiders of Lindisfarne thunder over the North Sea - and they don’t look like Vikings...

Previous Story: The Exaltation

Not as good as the first story but still decent. The viking plot just didn't really do much for me. H.G. Wells being here was interesting, he was a fun enough character on TV. This story doesn't really do much for him which makes me wonder why he's even here though. Peri was a lot of fun in this, bossing around a bunch of hopeless monks. The highlight of this story for me though was the quin Byron's interactions with his ship computer. It was a decent enough story I suppose.
