I can't even believe I bothered to finish this, it was so unbelievably dull. The setting is interesting enough, but suffered from character bloat and NONE of the characters were as endearing as the author was probably hoping they were, with climactic scenes and plot twists that felt unearned and hollow. The Doctor himself was mostly written competently, but half the time felt like a pull-string doll repeating old lines. This is definitely a story that would have benefited from a companion like Donna-- Donna in a mega-mall being attacked by Autons would have been brilliant. rainbound View profile Like Liked 0 Open in new window Statistics AVG.
