Honestly, this was a somewhat boring experience for me – The problem isn't in its plot, which is...cool 👍🏻, but rather in the way the narrative of All-Consuming Fire is conducted in the style of Companion Chronicles. It was very tiring to follow Richard Earl's narration for over two hours, there is a very slow plot build-up before the Doctor enters as a character, in short... my sincere apologies to the people expecting a “9/10 or 10/10”. But what made up for it was the great reproduction of the merger that is so beloved and desired by fans, Doctor Who + Sherlock Holmes - The plot itself is nothing special, stolen books from a church library end up facilitating the meeting of the detective with the Time Lord, the story also involves eerie spirits and such, and an invasion all set in a Victorian English scene. Ace is very poorly inserted in this story, indeed she has a very important role in part 4 (from what I remember) but in the other parts, she is just...just there. To say that I didn't enjoy All-Consuming Fire would be lying, to be fair in terms of plot it gets a lot right, but the narration...Aaaa it's too exhausting, sorry lol - The hype is mostly because of the crossover.
