There are some good ideas throughout, but there’s a lack of central hook with the villain that gets me really excited. Any comic can have an all powerful, ancient big bad,  but this sun creature is quite a remote concept which doesn’t make me desperate to see its return.

Its crazy that this comic came out so soon after DWM’s debut Capaldi and Coleman comic, where the pair visit the sun - there is some definite crossover in themes which was probably discovered late in the day. I swear part one of this story even makes an overt reference to it.
