Jo seems nice enough but is considerably dumbed down from liz which I don't particularly love, but the first appearance of the master somewhat makes up for her underwhelming arrival. the serial is a bit all over the place but still largely enjoyable with some of the funniest special effects I've seen so far making it a strong start to season 8
