Review of Doctor Who and the Pirates by MarkOfGilead19

This review contains spoilers!

A story about pirates in Doctor Who, that is actually good!?! Never thought it would come true (this site has Enlightenment as a pirate story, which is stretching it a bit in my opinion, but in that case we have two great pirate stories)

Yeah Sixie and Evelyn are on a roll, from the masterpiece that is Jubilee to this one. I'm not really into musicals, but everytime they show up in Doctor Who I love them (yes, even There's Always a Twist (At The End), I'm that guy...) So maybe I should reflect on what my true tastes are, anyway I loved almost all songs here, especially "I am the very model of a Gallifreyan buccaneer" (I'm going to add a whole quote to this site if they let me, I don't care, I love it).

I also loved the fact that they are telling this story to Sally in order to avoid her taking her own life at the end of the night, the reveal at the end was amazing (even if I saw it coming, but that is because it was hinted throught the 4 parts). And the story itself is really good too, it kinda drags a bit in the middle, but the final speech of Evelyn about Jem's fate and the evil that is Red Jasper is really moving.

Yeah, great character work and a really impressive pure historical. Amazing!
