DOCTOR: Amazing thing, history. People always assume it's a straight line because they're in the middle of it. Viewed from outside it's more like a Möbius strip.

MASTER: We go back a long, long way, the Doctor and I. We were at school together, we went out into the universe together. We’ve even killed each other a few times and that always gives you a very special bond with someone.

DOCTOR: I'm here.

MASTER: Doctor.

DOCTOR: Master.

MASTER: I like it when you use my name.

DOCTOR: I've been alone ever since. But not anymore. Don't you see? All we've got is each other.

MASTER: Are you asking me out on a date?

DOCTOR: Some people live more in 20 years than others do in 80. It’s not the time that matters, it’s the person.

DOCTOR: Oh, you should have seen it, that old planet. The second sun would rise in the south, and the mountains would shine. The leaves on the trees were silver, and when they caught the light every morning, it looked like a forest on fire. When the autumn came, the breeze would blow through the branches like a song.

DOCTOR: You want weapons? We’re in a library! Books! The best weapons in the world!

DOCTOR: Do you know like we were saying about the Earth revolving? It's like when you were a kid. The first time they tell you the world's turning and you just can't quite believe it because everything looks like it's standing still. I can feel it. The turn of the Earth. The ground beneath our feet is spinning at a thousand miles an hour, and the entire planet is hurtling round the sun at sixty seven thousand miles an hour, and I can feel it. We're falling through space, you and me, clinging to the skin of this tiny little world, and if we let go. That's who I am. Now, forget me, Rose Tyler. Go home.

MASTER: I always dress for the occasion.
