(The Doctor floats to the surface, face down.)

TURLOUGH: There's nothing we can do.

TEGAN: We can't just leave him.

TURLOUGH: Face it, Tegan. He's drowned.

(The Doctor sinks below the surface again.)

DOCTOR: When did you last have the pleasure of smelling a flower, watching a sunset, eating a well-prepared meal?
