I love that it's pure gaslight gatekeep girlboss. River and Missy just relentlessly gaslighting each other and everyone around them, and that's basically the whole plot. And that's really all I wanted from these two!

Before even starting this one, I thought it was such big brain thinking of BF to go, okay, we're doing a River&Master box set. Obviously the first one will be Missy, for the toxic yuri. What other incarnation are the people clamoring for? Crispy of course! Put him second!

And they were right. This is a really fun dynamic, in an interesting setting with kitties wearing sunglasses, as is their right. 

The 4 stars is me trying to be sensible. It's solid, it's fun, vampires, just 13 and Yaz getting focus. 5 stars is for "this completely broke my brain, let me play it on repeat"

buuuut, my silly lil brain hears chikens and wants to smash that 5. Especially named Barbara and Ian??? It was very hard to even pay attention to the story over my brain squeeing
