Goodbye Rose Tyler part 2

Continuation of part 1.

This episode marks the end of new who's first companion rose Tyler. This episode was fun. It was a big battle between the cybermen & The Daleks. That big question of who is better has been answered. I liked the idea of this episode which was cool. The ending isn't as sad as people say. It might be because I never liked Rose Tyler anyway and I'm happy she's gone. This episode gets an 8/10 the whole story gets a 9/10

Goodbye Rose Tyler part 1

This story was fun. It was very fast paced and felt intense at times. Having the daleks and the cybermen back was cool. They haven't gone face to face yet but they do in part 2. David Tennant performed really well in this episode so did Billie. Nice to have mickey back. 9/10

Paper cuts

This story was dreadful. I've never felt so bored watching doctor who. It was about a girl called Chloe Webber who was possessed by the Isolis and wanted to make a new family by drawing kids. Living things could become drawings so that meant drawings could become living things. And because chloe drew her evil dad it came alive and was tormenting her. There was some funny scenes from the doctor. Rose was very good in this she saved the day when the doctor couldn't. This gets a 2/10

The life of Elton

This story was very filler. Not much happened but it did feel like a recap of the show so far. It was about this man called Elton and how he met the doctor before and become Obsessed with him. He had a group called Linda and they were all killed off by the Abzorbaloff. It recapped all the earth story's so far so we had the Autons from Rose. The Slitheen crashing into big Ben from the Aliens of London. The Sycorax ship from The Christmas Invasion. This was a doctor lite episode so not much to say about them here. 5/10

Exposing The Truth

This episode was different than the other stuff we've had this season. It followed Ruby Sunday who is dating a man called Conrad Clark. Conrad met the doctor back in 2007 and is Obsessed with him. He gets a relationship with Ruby and then betrays her. He then tries to bring unit down. I thought it was cool to see someone challenge unit. We don't really see that happen. The acting from Millie Gibson was good this time round but in my opinion the real star of the show was Kate. Jemma gave a really good performance this time round. She got in a really dark phase near the end which we rarely see from Kate. This isn't going to top Lux for me but it is still good. 8/10

The God of The Dark part 2

Continuation of Part one. This second part was much better. It really felt like it got into full swing here. The Doctor & Rose were split up again which feels like a common trend this series. The doctor was with Ida down on the planets surface and dealing with the pit and the horrors inside. I really liked 10's speech about religion and beliefs it made me question what my beliefs were which was interesting. The whole idea of Satan being a creature before time existed is scary because it means he's always been here. Rose was with the rest of the team on the base. She and the rest of the team had to deal with the possessed ood. It was really creepy watching the ood crawl through the vents. Mr jefferson actually ended up dying which was sad. He sacrificed himself to save the others. Overall this was a good story. I give this episode a 9/10 and the whole story a 8/10

The God of the Dark part 1

This story is good. Its not extra 10/10 good but it is good. The story is about a group of humans who are on a planet orbiting a black hole. They soon discover something is down on the lower section of the planet something dark. It possesses the ood and takes over Toby. This creature is called Satan (you probably know him) and its coming. This is also the origin for the SB6 Spacesuit. We will see this spacesuit in future adventures. Acting from both David and Billie was really good this time round. Part one gets a 8/10

TV Trouble

This story was a nice smaller story. It was about an entity called The Wire and it put itself inside the TV in 1953 London. Its plan was to feast on everyone's face as they watched the Queens Coronation. The acting from David Tennant was great in this one especially in the scene where him and Mr Connolly were arguing. Rose was good for the part she was in. Overall this is a 8/10

Return of the Cybermen part 2

The continuation of part 1. The army of Cybermen is patrolling the streets of London finding anyone and everyone to upgrade to build an army. The characters were all split up in pairs for this one. Rose & Pete went into the Cyber factory's in search of Jackie Tyler only to find she was upgraded by the Cybermen. The pure emotion from that scene made it intense. It really showed how much they cared about her. Jake & Mickey had the job of taking down the zeppelin. There's not much to say about this but noel Clarke performed really well. And The Doctor & Mrs Moore / Angel Price had to go into the cooling tunnels and deal with the Cybermen. The scene where one of the cybermen got their emotions back was so sad. We learn that her name was Sally and she was getting married. When I tell you this scene had me in tears i mean it. It was so sad to see a woman who was meant to be getting excited for the changes in her life to die like this. This is also Mickey's semi exit he will be back for the Finale. All things considered this story is a good one. It has some really high highs and some emotional scenes. This gets a 6/10 from me

Return of the Cybermen part 1

This story was fun. It was a good setup for this story and served as a part 1. The story is about a man called John Lumic who is a mad scientist in a parallel universe and he's kidnapping people off the street and "upgrading" them into Cybermen. I thought the story was great. This episode is also important for all the other Cybermen stories in new who because this is their origin. The acting was great from everyone. The Cybermen are a classic villain so their good. It's nice to have them back. This was a solid 6/10
