Good concept, abysmal execution. Unfortunately I did not connect with this story whatsoever.

I don't know what I've just watched. They tried to cram far too much into just one episode, I felt lost from the get-go.

This was quite a lovely story!! I really love Ian and Barbara, and had no idea they were part of Dooms Day until today. I'm not an audiobook lover but this was quite engaging, the short runtime helped too. Sooz is fab, I love her, and she was just great here.

Missy range, take notes. This is how you do a Master boxset. I ADORE when boxsets have an arc running through them. Not every arc has to be a 16 episode epic, but just one arc across 3 stories makes all the difference compared to Missy and the 1st Call Me Master boxsets. I get way more invested, and it just works. This was great, I've only heard Vienna once before (Once and Future) and she is the reason I've taken so long to delve into Master because of my lack of knowledge of her. She was great in this, I'm loving all the dynamics and this modern post-dystopian version of Earth. I'm really intrigued as to what comes in the final part of this set.

Nice story with some great sound design, and a lovely introduction to a new companion!! Really like the dynamic with Peri and Erimem already, can't wait to hear more from this team.

This was a strong opener to the second series, and brought us up to speed with a HUGE time jump. I am glad to have Suze back, and it was really interesting to learn about her entanglement with the Emperor. The concepts in this episode are great, and I'm surprised they've not been covered before. I thought woah this would suit TV who in a Flux-esque series. Really good start to this series.

I actually quite enjoyed this! Although, Suze being dead was obviously not true and saw the reveal coming a mile off. Stupid to have two betrayals with Dalek agents as opposed to just one. The ending was good but like... it just ended so abruptly? It could've ended with more dialogue or just before anything came through the gateway.

I really enjoyed this premiere, so far so good! I'm glad its going to be an arc, as opposed to what they did with Missy and Spy with their series. Boxsets should have arcs!!!!! Intrigued as to where this is gonna go, I really like this incarnation.

The music in this has to be one of BF's best ever scores. Absolutely incredible, no notes. Actually, I wish they leant more into the techno, when they did it was incredible. My only note for this, is that with it being an alternate timeline/not canon to ours, I really wish they converted/killed Nyssa or Adric. I really thought they would. Overall though, fantastic. Really strong BF release. BF are really on top form right now. This last year has been amazing.

One of the better Missy stories, but it does fall into many of the tropes which I dislike for this range. Hoping if they do a S5 they listen to the criticisms.
