FLOOD: And that's how the story of the Church on Ruby Road comes to an end, with a very happy ending for little Ruby Sunday. But life goes on, doesn't it? Ruthlessly. And what happens, you might wonder. Oh, what happens to that mysterious traveller in Time and Space known as the Doctor? I'm sorry to say his story ends in absolute terror. Night, night.

DOCTOR: You know, I used to tell people I walked in Eternity. And the thing about Eternity is, well—it does go on.

ROGUE: They'll kill us. Then this house. Then London. Then the world. You know that. You absolutely know it. So can you do it? Can you lose your friend to save the world?

DOCTOR: No.

ROGUE: I know.

(Rogue kisses the Doctor and takes the trigger off him. He pushes Ruby out of the triform and takes her place.)

ROGUE: Find me.

MAESTRO: Music, Maestro, please!

TIMOTHY: Henry, get away from him.

MAESTRO: Them.

TIMOTHY: What?

MAESTRO: Me.

TIMOTHY: What?

MAESTRO: I'm them.

TIMOTHY: You're who?

MAESTRO: You're who?

MAESTRO: Ta-da!

DOCTOR: A wise person once said to me, goodbyes only hurt because what came before was so special. Oh, and it's been so special. You, and Graham, and Ryan, and Dan. Nobody else got to be us. Nobody else got to live our days. Nobody. And my hearts are so full of love of all of you. Oh, I have loved being with you, Yaz. And I have loved being me. I think I need to do this next bit alone.

YASMIN: Let's not say goodbye.

DOCTOR: Oh, the blossomiest blossom. That's the only sad thing. I want to know what happens next. Right, then. Doctor Whoever-I'm-about-to-be. Tag, you're it.

DOCTOR: Listen to me. I'm gonna save my friends. I'm gonna save that universe. And I'm gonna destroy Division. So hold on to that hat, because you, me, and the end of the universe—it's personal now. And I'm gonna win.

DOCTOR: Take your hat off, mate.

(Skaak removes his helmet)

DOCTOR: Urgh. On second thoughts, put it back on.

GILES: I don't know how it happened, it turns out Stathe- Stacey was a Love Wraith from the planet Succuba.

DOCTOR: Be kind. Even kinder than you were yesterday. And I know you were super kind yesterday! Look out for each other. You won't be the only one worried. Talking will help. Sharing will help. Look out for your friends, you neighbours, people you hardly know, and family. Because in the end, we're all family.

DOCTOR: Remember, you will get through this. And things will be all right. Even if they look uncertain. Even if you're worried. Darkness never prevails.

DOCTOR: Cos sometimes this team structure isn't flat. It's mountainous, with me at the summit in the stratosphere, alone, left to choose.

DOCTOR: Is that your intruder alert or mine?

RYAN: It's the doorbell.

DOCTOR: Oh, yeah. Sorry.

DOCTOR: None of us know for sure what's out there. That's why we keep looking. Keep your faith. Travel hopefully. The universe'll surprise you... constantly.

DOCTOR: Never be cruel. Never be cowardly. Hate is always foolish. Love is always wise. Always try to be nice, but never fail to be kind.
