DOCTOR: Donna!

DONNA: I'm already running!

DONNA: You okay?

DOCTOR: I will be.

DONNA: When?

DOCTOR: A million years.

DONNA: (to Rose) Listen, you. I would burn down the world for you, darling. Anyone has a go, I will be there and I will descend.

DOCTOR: When something goes missing, you can always recreate it by the hole it left. I know that there was an ice warrior on the submarine and a mummy on the Orient Express. I know we sat together in the cloisters and she told me something very important, but I have no idea what she said... Or what she looked like... Or how she talked... Or laughed.

CLARA: You don't know who you're looking for, I mean... She could be me, for all you know.

DOCTOR: There's one thing I know about her. Just one thing. If I met her again, I would absolutely know.

CLARA: I don't think I could ever forget you.

DOCTOR: Clara, I don't think you're ever going to have to.

CLARA: There has to be something I can do.

DOCTOR: Smile for me. Go on, Clara Oswald, one last time.

CLARA: How could I smile?

DOCTOR: It's okay. Don't you worry. I'll remember it.

DOCTOR: Run like hell.

CLARA: What?

DOCTOR: Run like hell because you always need to. Laugh at everything because it's always funny.

CLARA: No, stop it. You're saying goodbye. Don't say goodbye.

DOCTOR: Never be cruel, never be cowardly, and if you ever are, always make amends.

CLARA: You said memories become stories when we forget them. Maybe some of them become songs.

DOCTOR: It doesn't matter what the Hybrid is. It only matters that I convinced them that I knew. Otherwise they'd have kicked me out, I'd have had nothing left to bargain with.

CLARA: What were you bargaining for?

DOCTOR: What do you think? You. I had to find a way to save you.

CLARA: Doctor, you are not the only person who ever lost someone. It's the story of everybody. Get over it. Beat it. Break free. 

(Her hand touches his cheek.)

CLARA: Doctor, it's time. Get up, off your arse, and win!

CLARA: Do you hear me? I did this. This is my fault.

DOCTOR: I don't care!

CLARA: Liar. You always care. Always have. Your reign of terror will end with the sight of the first crying child and you know it.

DOCTOR: I don't.

CLARA: I do.

CLARA: No, listen, whatever happens next, wherever she is sending you, I know what you're capable of. You don't be a warrior. Promise me. Be a doctor.

DOCTOR: What's the point of being a doctor if I can't cure you?

CLARA: Heal yourself. You have to. You can't let this turn you into a monster so I'm not asking you for a promise. I'm giving you an order. You will not insult my memory. There will be no revenge. I will die and no one else here or anywhere will suffer.

DOCTOR: What about me?

CLARA: If there's something I could do about that, I would. Guess we're both just gonna have to be brave.

CLARA: Let me be brave... Let me be brave...

CLARA: So, you must have thought I was dead for a while?

DOCTOR: Yeah.

CLARA: How was that?

DOCTOR: Longest month of my life.

CLARA: It could only have been five minutes.

DOCTOR: I'll be the judge of time.

DOCTOR: I'm so sick of losing.

CLARA: You didn't lose. You saved the town.

DOCTOR: I don't mean the war. I'll lose any war you like. I'm sick of losing people.

CLARA: Jane Austen. Amazing writer, brilliant comic observer, and strictly among ourselves, a phenomenal kisser.

CLARA: How did you know I was here? Did you see me?

DOCTOR: When do I not see you?

CLARA: What, one face in all of that crowd?

DOCTOR: There was a crowd, too?

DOCTOR: You betrayed me. Betrayed my trust, you betrayed our friendship, you betrayed everything that I've ever stood for. You let me down!

CLARA: Then why are you helping me?

DOCTOR: Why? Do you think I care for you so little that betraying me would make a difference?

CLARA: You're always going to be afraid, even if you learn to hide it. Fear is like a companion. A constant companion, always there. But that's okay, because fear can bring us together. Fear can bring you home. I'm going to leave you something, just so you'll always remember, fear makes companions of us all.

CLARA: Be a doctor. You told me the name you chose was a promise. What was the promise?

TENTH DOCTOR: Never cruel or cowardly.

WAR DOCTOR: Never give up, never give in.

CLARA: You get used to not knowing. I thought I never would. I was wrong. I know who he is. I know how he began and I know where he’s going. I learnt the truth about The Doctor, and his greatest secret - the day we went to Trenzalore.

PALMER: And you are?

CLARA: Ghostbusters.

DOCTOR: I'm the Doctor.

PALMER: Doctor what?

DOCTOR: If you like. And this is Clara.

DONNA: Donna. I'm a human being. Maybe not the stuff of legend but every bit as important as Time Lords, thank you.

DONNA: She [Jenny] belongs with us. With you. She's your daughter.

DOCTOR: She's a soldier. She came out of that machine.

DONNA: Oh yes, I know that bit. Listen, have you got that stethoscope? Give it to me. Come on.

JENNY: What are you doing?

DONNA: It's all right. Just hold still.

(Donna listens to Jenny's chest.)

DONNA: Come here. Listen, and then tell me where she belongs.

DOCTOR: Two hearts.

DONNA: Exactly.
