An average story in which Jack, Ianto and Gwen explore an eerie house which has appeared out of nowhere. The watercolour art is nice, even if it's clear at points that it might have been traced. Also, the villain felt a little loosely defined.

The first of two Doctor Who related graphic novels by the BBC, this book explores the possibility of a "good Dalek" with a trove of references to earlier Dalek stories.

Personally, I thought the Abomination (as the good Dalek was called) was underexplored. All we really learn about it is that it's peaceful enough to not pull a person's hand off and that it probably doesn't like Daleks. Seeing as the ending shows that it survived, it would have been nice to have seen more of this Dalek.

As for the rest, the artwork is alright, the Doctor and Amy's characterisation isn't overly remarkable, and the supporting characters are okay. Surprised at how dark it got at points, with the ending being particularly grim.
