Absolutely INCREDIBLE atmosphere. There's some really insightful characterization of Steven, and quite possibly the best characterization of Dodo in any medium. I can't believe Big Finish gave this away for free.

Dodo finally gets a Companion Chronicle! She's been such an underdeveloped character, so it's great for her to get this. I like what this story does with her, and I really hope that we get more like this with Dodo.

I hadn't quite realized just how much I missed First Doctor pure historicals in the extended universe, because man, did this one hit me hard. Peter Purves, now in his mid 80s, still doesn't sound like he's aged a day, and he is an excellent narrator.

An incredible start to the new Thirteenth range. The story is captivating, the dialogue is hilarious, and the character dynamics are great. If there was a time for Tim Foley to put on his best, this was it, and he succeeded.

Really great story. The vibes are excellent; it wonderfully captures that spooky, small village feeling that is just so captivating. The characters all fit so so well and have great chemistry.

There are some neat ideas here, but I'm just not that into Gallifrey as a setting.

James Dreyfus' Master also sucks. Am I biased because he's a transphobic f**k? Yes, but that's a good reason to be biased.

10 and 4 have some amazing chemistry together. It's been so long since I finished 10's era of the show, so it's fantastic to hear David Tennant again. This story is great and works to both Doctors' strengths.

I was *really* into this for the first two episodes, but oh my god the third episode just DESTROYED the pace. One of the worst standalone episodes since The Daleks ep 6. It's otherwise a great serial, but I can't ignore that episode.

Cute story. The different characters being brought together don't conflict too much, and every story is made better by putting Rufus Hound's Monk in it.

Another INCREDIBLE Fourth Doctor serial. The directing and cinematography was immaculate, and the writing was extremely compelling. I'm starting to finally see what other people see in Philip Hinchcliffe.

This story kicked ass. Incredible worldbuilding, great characters, and a gripping narrative with plenty of twists and turns. I haven't heard many EU stories with Tom Baker himself yet, but he kills it here.

I like this story a lot, but I have some mixed feelings. It's remarkable that it fits so many things into this story without it feeling crammed, but the narrative kinda lost me in the back third.

Like the last one, a lot smaller scale, which I really like. The Fourth Doctor looks around some stores looking for some kind of artifact. Travis is a very fun, skeevy salesman character. Fun time, this one. :)

My favorite kind of Short Trip, one that avoids the massive conflict of usual stories to instead tell a smaller scale, smaller scope story. Four and Sarah visit the circus. :)

This has a lot more ambition than your usual Annual story. There's an actual concrete message! ...Unfortunately, the message is pretty bad. "These persecuted people need to be imprisoned or else they become murderous MONSTERS!" Woof.

Feels like the end of an era with all the connections to the previous season, but it was a great end to the era. I am very excited to see where the show goes from here. :)
