A multi-doctor story focusing on how The Doctor met Mel. I was presently surprised by this audio. It's a fun and adventurous story. Having two Doctors here was great. We get the more brash and arrogant Six and the softer and mellowed-out Six. It's an excellent opportunity to see how much Six has grown. There's a little too much technobabble towards the end, but it's still an excellent audio. Mel and The Doctors are just so great here. This just might be one of my favorite Colin performances. I mean, good god, he's great here. 4 out of 5.

Review of The Scorchies by Alex5679
I had heard that it was a silly and ridiculous story but still pretty great, so I thought it was time to check it out. After listening to it, I was amazed because the story was amazing. The story is about the Third Doctor and Jo encountering an alien species called the Scorchies, who are sentient puppets that have kidnapped Jo and want to kill the Doctor and take over the world. It's a ridiculous premise for a story, but it's also incredibly fun. Jo is the main character in this story and gets caught up in the Scorchies' madness. Katy Manning does a great job voicing Jo, and her impressions of the Third Doctor sound pretty great. The Scorchies themselves are a fun and entertaining threat, and the songs they sing are really enjoyable. If you're looking for a more fun, silly, and spontaneous audio adventure with Jo Grant, I recommend checking this audio out. 4.5 out of 5.
Review of Midnight by Alex5679
The Doctor decides to go on vacation alone, traveling with several other passengers, only for their vehicle to shut down mysteriously and an unknown creature to take hold of one of them. The whole episode revolves around The Doctor and their fellow passengers, who are unable to deal with their position and getting increasingly agitated as they are trapped by an unknown creature with no way of escaping. For such a simple premise, Midnight succeeds in its execution. The atmosphere is tense, scary, and always on edge. The cast is fantastic in this episode. They all come off as human and act realistically in this situation, especially when facing the "Midnight Creature." David, as always, delivers an excellent performance as The Doctor; he conveys the creature's threat and how The Doctor acts in dangerous situations. Midnight was a great episode, one of the show's best. 9.5/10
Review of Dreadshade by Alex5679
Dreadshade picks up immediately after Palindrome, with Bliss and The traveling to Gallifrey only to arrive with some amnesia. This story was a step down from Palindrome, especially with the inclusion of amnesia, which is rarely enjoyable for The Eighth Doctor. However, it's still a delightful adventure with a lot of thrills and cool returning characters like The General, The Twelve, and Rasmus. The Twelve, being the main antagonist of this story, was fun. Julia Mckenzie's acting was quite enjoyable, but her role in this story could've been better. I always believed that maybe she should've been fully redeemed. Overall, this story was a fun little runaway story with the characters slowly figuring out pieces of the plot. It was nothing too great, but it was still enjoyable. 7/10
Review of Palindrome – Part 2 by Alex5679
Part 2 of Palindrome continues where Part 1 left off. This time, coming out of the mysterious portal Davros has been working on, it isn't Bliss or The Doctor but The Time Strategist. The story follows Davros and The Time Strategist as they continue a deadly plan that will result in death and destruction. One thing I love about this story is its tragedy—one of the rare occasions where The Doctor doesn't win. The Daleks, Davros, and The Strategists are at their most ruthless here, and it is glorious. Terry Molloy gives a fantastic performance as Davros. Davros is such a tragic character in this; he didn't ask for this, and I pity him here. Big Finish Davros stories are always quite tragic. Really great story 9/10
Review of Palindrome – Part 1 by Alex5679
John Dorny starts Eighth Doctor Time War 4 with a banger. This story uses the Timey Wimey aspect of The Time War well. Palindrome follows Davros, or a Davros from another reality who's experiencing tragedy after tragedy, and all of it surrounding The Doctor, Bliss, and The Daleks. Without giving too much away, I have to say I enjoyed this story; It was very much action-packed, engaging, and very unique. I never thought I would get a glimpse into another reality and another Skaro. Davros was the perfect protagonist for this story, and Terry Molloy was just perfect as always as Davros. 8.5/10
