Like most sixth doctor serials before it, it suffers from an abysmal and meandering pace. It relies on gobs of bumming around and endless mind-numbing detours to fill out its punishingly lengthy runtime. A masterclass in taking a simple idea and turning it into a grotesque and convoluted plot homunculus.

Every aspect of filmmaking has improved at least two letter grades each from the previous film. Genuinely very fun and at times even visually striking. Would definitely reccommend.
