I love how the pretend female Doctor is clearly based on Joanna Lumley—it gives the character a distinctive visual identity without requiring much development within the comic itself. The idea of The Doctor stepping in to help smooth the way in a tense peace conference is a neat idea, it isn’t particularly fleshed out. The story wraps up in an overly convenient way, with the Doctor simply walking in on one of the antagonists as they admit their plan. It’s not particularly sophisticated.

Of course, the woman Doctor is a fake. However, the idea ofva woman Doctor would still stay in the mind of a young man by the name of Chris Chibnell, a person who would never be mentioned in the Classic Series, but would be most important for the Modern Series and would cast his friend Jodie Whittaker as the 13th Doctor!
