This is part of a series of reviews of Doctor Who in chronological timeline order. Previous Story: The Lovecraft Invasion I really like the Dream Crabs so I might be the teeniest bit biased but this story is fantastic. It's got such a good atmosphere, the soundtrack is brilliant. Mari Yoshida is a really fun companion, even if she isn't technically one, like Shona from Last Christmas. Even if it's not an impressively inventive Dream Crab story I still really enjoy it and to be honest I don't think I could ever get tired of them. Paul McGann is here. He's absolutely brilliant, I can't wait to do his stories properly. I loved the banter between 6 and 8, it's an unusual multi-doc but they still manage to get in a moment where they both insult each other. The ending was also quite sweet. Overall, a great little entry in Classic Doctors, New Monsters which continues to be one of my favourite ranges.
