This was an absolute blast. Jo Grant was in top form here, and it was so fun to have her in an audio adventure with the Sea Devils. The scene where she gets sent to talk to the Sea Devils is straight out of a James Bond movie and I adored it. I love how this story wound up very much focusing on peacemaking. It felt very earned, in line with the spirit of the original Silurians and Sea Devils, and gave a lot of credit to our main characters of all species. Tidal Wave is an absolute stand-out among the UNIT: Assembled set, and even of the new UNIT series. I wish more of these audios had the same level of energy as this one. The stuff with Anthony Burmaster was less entertaining - he kind of felt like a boring character, but that's kind of an issue with the larger set and story than anything Tidal Wave felt focused on. dema1020 View profile Like Liked 0 Open in new window Statistics AVG.
