Not even a slay animation could save this story... Unfortunately I hated the recon (I don't like telesnaps) and this didn't help either, the story is just so long and drawn out and I just couldn't get into it.

It’s a very dodgy story, and while the animation makes it flow better than tele-snaps, I can’t say it saves it. It was interesting this time around noticing the parallels between Zaroff and Davros in Genesis. There are some similar tropes at play - especially his relationship with the local government.
