This story is BEAUTIFUL honestly probably the BEST interlude so far which is even better then the set it’s paired with is just as good Honestly this story kinda made me cry a little I loved it

These interludes are such a mixed bunch. This one attempts to embroil 6 and Mel into a series of imaginary death-traps based on the works of Edgar Allen Poe but ultimately only provided a pale pastiche with none of the depth of the original writing.

There were one or two mildly clever gags in it (Edgar Alien Poe, for example) , but they were largely wasted.

Ultimately, I was left disappointed and with the feeling that somewhere in the universe there must be a much better tale of Poe's mysterious final days.

The Edgar Allen Poe puns are pretty much worth it on their own. Besides that, this adventure doesn’t offer a lot unless you’re a mega fan of both Poe and season 23 era Sixie

The premise was interesting, but this was way too long for my liking and nothing really stood out. Every scene blended with the previous one, despite each main arc following a different Poe story. If each arc had a distinct shift in atmosphere and tone, there wouldn’t have been a need for the narrator to literally spell out the title of each new Poe story as they switched into new worlds. It seemed a bit amateurish in that regard.

I don’t know why this wasn't written as a Peri story as Poe was from Baltimore. Would that be too on the nose? Probably. But what’s wrong with that? I think if Peri was involved, it would've sustained my interest a bit more, because Mel and Six seemed to be going through the motions together.

I'm not sure why, in a set that was meant to celebrate S22, there was so much Mel in the first place.
