So much to cram into the really elongated runtime, and yet it feels like a missed opportunity. The story has some really good moments, but if they shaved off a good 15 minutes and cut down on the jumping around locations, it could've been a punchier story for sure. Jac's characterisation is all over the place, compared to the little we see of her on tv. It's a delight to hear Rani and Jo reunited, with some particular poignant scenes. There's a twist in this, which is honestly the most predictable twist to ever twist. Jamie View profile Like Liked 0 3 June 2025 · 123 words Review by Saturn Not one of the best. Jac is out of character THROUGHOUT the entire story. In the TV series she's analytical, critical, knowledgable, kind, a little passive aggressive at times (but only on a friendly level), she may not be as well versed in science as Osgood but she's fantastic on her own... Here, she's actively rude, aggressive to Rani at times, arrogant, power hungry and just nasty at times. Aside from that, Jo and Rani feel a bit like charicatures of themselves, though Katy and Anjli are as fantastic as ever. The story is basic and dull, and the twists are obvious as hell. It wasn't as complex as it needed to be (not even as complex as some of the SJA stories). Saturn View profile Like Liked 0
