This first story with Nicholas Briggs's Nth Doctor is very much alike to Brigg's later scripts so if you like them - you will quite enjoy this. If not... Well, you won't

The story takes a lot of time to get moving but the Temperon is a fascinating character, and the Daleks (voiced by none other than Michael Wisher) are marvellous

Character dynamic between Nadia and Fred (Doctor's companions) reminded me of good old Power of the Daleks (wonder whether this was intentional or not - after all, The Time Ravagers is also a post-regeneration story featuring the evil pepper pots). The trio from the ship is also very reminicent to many classic Who supporting characters
