I absolutely loved this story. I think there's a lot I didn't quite understand, but that's alright - I don't think it matters. I may not know what the thing in the woods is, or what it needed, but I do know what it's like to have a parent who thinks like Mads. And oh, what an excellent horror writer Dillon is! Can't wait to see more from him. A bittersweet kind of story that I'm sure I'll never stop thinking about - 5/5. Highly recommend.
