I really wish I could give this a higher score, but alas, here we are. The beginning and ending of this story are great with another Winter summoning the Doctor and Clara, this one Shadrak Winter, the High Cardinal of the fourth highest religion. There's some fun commentary on religions, piety, and the shoe dropping that this was all a set-up was excellent. Unfortunately the middle is spent with the Doctor stricken by guilt saying sorry a bunch as he and Clara both try to avoid giant slugs. A whole lot of giant slug avoidance. I did feel Clara was written well as the confident woman she is, really good outing for her. Overall the variety in the Winter saga remains a lot of fun. Guardax View profile Like Liked 0
