Unfortunately, the TARDIS being the TARDIS, they don’t end up where they want to be. On the planet Hereafter, the Doctor and his friends aren’t the only visitors from the stars... The Ice Warriors are here, but they’re not the most dangerous threat... Going off that premise, the novel seems like a fun read. But sadly, it’s a bit of a dull slog. The main problem I have with the book is the unengaging characters, boring locations, and a wasted plot. This book isn’t really my cup of tea, and while I appreciate the effort, I just can’t engage with the story at all. To be honest, I probably don’t like this novel just because I don’t enjoy these kinds of stories. This review has been quite difficult to write, as it’s very hard to get my feelings towards this novel across, but I think I can summarise. A good book, but definitely not for me. Like Liked 0
