Its nice to have Caroline John back as Liz Shaw, - I say that about a lot companions I think, but its the ones who appear less often that makes it extra special.

Missing information in UNIT files leads to Liz Shaw being questioned, and she recalls when a time experiment went wrong and a goup of people were hell bent on a new world order.

Its set sometime after Liz leaves UNIT, and she meets up with the Doctor - having listened to Intelligence for War earlier this year it feels a little repetitive as it was a similer set up there.

Its a bit jumpy at times, a few lines of narration and suddenly our heroes are in a different situation facing new threats, its almost a case of blink and you miss it. So if you're easily distracted or not paying attention you could easily be lost. It does feel like a longer story condensed, with the action skipped - which for audio is understandable.

There's nothing particularly new here, standard tropes - a nice bit about Liz and mobile phones.

In comming to write this review I found that its kind of a prequel to the Sixth Doctor Lost Adventure Leviathan, which I listened to just over a year ago - not that I remembered the connection. So its fine as a stand alone.

Its great for having Caroline John, and does what it says on the tin, nice entertainment for an hour.

Okay it’s nice to have Liz back with me love Liz but found this story so weak
