Enfim, vejo "The Raincloud Man" apenas como um BOM áudio... Hmmm...Charley dando rolê em um Casino do Rio de Janeiro...hmmm kkkkkkkk Continuing Charley's run with the 6th Doctor, the TARDIS travellers decide to take a relaxing break in Manchester in 2008. Soon, the two come across a local newspaper headline reporting that a man found a coin that allegedly came from the future. The audio has the same investigative tone as "The Condemned", with the travellers once again joining detective "Menzies" to start a new investigation amidst a well-paced narrative with a beautiful exploration of the criminal and alien underworld of then-modern Manchester. Although we have quite interesting and important sections showing the first signs that Charley's paradox is likely to lead to something very bad - I found the plot a bit dragged out, thin, and even somewhat lacking in content until its first half (parts 1 and 2). The story improves when the whole affair of the fugitive alien and the interplanetary war involving the Tabbalac race is introduced, but... I don't know, it still seemed to me a mix of elements a bit strange. Anyway, I see "The Raincloud Man" just as a GOOD audio... So far "The Condemned" continues to hold the title of the best. Hmmm...Charley hanging out in a Casino in Rio de Janeiro...hmmm LOL (Translation generated by AI, so mistakes are possible). I was already really liking this story as a sequel to The Condemned, (I loved that story as the start of the continuation of Charley's story, as well as the character of Menzies, this feeling very similar thematically) but when the Doctor started playing high stakes Top Trumps at a casino to end a war, the story was absolutely solidified as an absolute classic in my opinion.
