This is part of a series of reviews of Doctor Who in chronological timeline order. Previous Story: Fever Island And now, the beginning of the conclusion to Series 8 of the Fourth Doctor Adventures and wow, that was pretty good. It's a real shame the rest of the series couldn't live up to this quality. The story starts you off right in the middle of action, if this was any other stories in this series I would be complaining because the action so far has been nonsensical and annoying, however, this story's action is fairly good and luckily it doesn't dwell on it too long either way. Pieces of who Ann Kelso actually is are slowly revealed throughout the story and while I did already know the twist it was still very strong. Jane Slavin's performance as she switches from Ann Kelso to Anya Kingdom is ridiculously good and almost makes up for the character's lack of development throughout the series. This is a story that definitely warrants a rewatch of The Daleks' Master Plan, It's laden with references that I only half get because I definitely zoned out a few times during the telesnaps, so when I do recognise something it's very fun. Overall I think it's a fun sequel to The Daleks' Master Plan so far. Next Story: The Perfect Prisoners - Part 2 thedefinitearticle63 View profile Like Liked 0
