This one's a fantastic short story, one of the earliest depictions of the Ninth Doctor encountering the Cybermen, or Cyberman in this case as the Doctor arrives at an old travelling circus and learns that something stalks the grounds picking people off and appears as a ghostly figure. It is very simple on the one hand and would later be overshadowed by the much more popular Monsters in Metropolis but The Patchwork Pierrot is still a great body horror story showcasing the more gruesome aspect of the Cybermen

The Ninth Doctor #5

'The Patchwork Pierrot' (2017) from Tales of Terror.

Quite a nice tone piece for The Doctor, fitting in nicely with the darker, gloomy vibe of a lot of his stories so far. The circus setting is used effectively, and I enjoyed the use of the Cyberman.
