the ending reminded me of "kikis bizarre adventure": abrupt

OK story to start with, but about halfway through it sort of goes off the rails. It was hard to understand what was happening at a certain point. Another downside is that the story suddenly stops. The acting was great, with Sophie Aldred deserving special praise.
